This nozzle has been the standard in the paper
industry for over 30 years. They are available with a selection of orifice
materials including, "Pyrex Glass Lined", Stainless Steel, and
Ceramic. Orifice sizes range from 0.010" to 0.070" and are now
available in an air curtain assembly. Nozzle strainers are optional and
can be used with any 1/8" connected nozzle.
The XT nozzle is a wonder in its simplicity. It is commonly
used where ever sediment building on the inside of the piping causes
nozzle plugging. The unique design allows water only from the upper
portion of the pipe to enter the nozzle, thus eliminating the sediment
becoming trapped in the orifice. Additional benefits are a more smooth
laminar flow. The XT nozzle is available in most nozzle patterns and
sizes.
The manual purge nozzle produces a flat fan type
pattern, which is proven effective for de-foaming in sewage and water
treatment plants. In the spray position, the counter weight helps to form
the orifice. In the purge position, the orifice opens to allow passage of
solids, which would otherwise plug the nozzle.
These showers use an internal stainless steel brush to
clean piping and nozzles to keep process equipment running and to reduce
maintenance time. Piping and nozzles are cleaned "WITHOUT"
shutting down equipment. All sediment collected in the piping is then
routed to drain.
This Nozzle, available in stainless steel only, uses the
jet reaction from the hi-pressure streams of water to propel itself
through your piping and sewers. Available in choice of connection sizes,
flow capacities, and standard or rotating head.
